Hello Friends,
It's a material day with our materials getting our attention. What do we take? What do we leave? How many bags do we want to schlep through the airports and around the Arequipa area? What can we stand to loose if someone makes off with it?
What do we want and what do we really need?!
We have our luggage crammed with 'stuff' - clothes for cool and fresh weather, sundries to keep us comfortable, tools to do whatever jobs lay ahead of us, electronics to document our trip and of course some open-mindedness to fill in the gaps as we come across them. We have time to react to the things we don't have on hand, but pressure is on to wrap up our home lives and get ready for meeting those who can share a thing or two about what it means to really live life with only the minimum material goods - if that.
Our faith teaches us that the material is not what is important, yet it is the material we are worrying about bringing. Balance is important in this journey, and in practicing before we go, we can hope to continue when faced with the decisions at Elohim School.
With faith and prayers,
The PCB-LWW Team
